Description
Birch trees are pretty iconic on the prairies of Manitoba and our off road or camping adventures growing up often included these trees. This painting was inspired by the forested trails at one of our frequented dog parks and the stark contrast of the green against the white birch trunks mid summer. The texture and patterns in the birch bark is such a beautiful thing and I remember learning as a child how we can use the white bark to rub on our skin for sunscreen or as parchment to write on. It is a magical tree.
The original painting was a small oil on wood panel and the print is 8.5″ x 11″ on 96lb textured bristol paper, bringing out more original texture feel.
Art card option is roughly 5×7 on white card stock with an envelope included. Inside of card is blank.
Perfect to add a splash of green and a natural vibe to any room, office or studio space!
