Hemp soap bag, handknit in Manitoba

Description

These beautiful bags are made from 100% hemp cord dyed with chemical free, plant based dye that can return to the rivers and streams once the dye process is completed and is safe for babies and pets.

These natural fibre soap bags are hand knit here in Manitoba by Delicately Hooked and were custom made for our soap bars. Simply place your natural bar soap in the hemp bag and use with soap inside the bag by wetting it first and then holding it between your palms and rubbing back and forth for desired lather and use the bag directly to exfoliate and wash skin in a circular motion. Rinse off excess lather and pull fibre away from soap before hanging to dry. Cord will soften with use and can be washed and reused. These will last a long time, but once the lifespan is used up, you can compost the bag.

Washable and reusable, the hemp is dyed in batches and color shades vary between each batch so variations in color are to be expected. The colour does bleed for the first few uses when wet. You can soak the bag overnight in warm water before using in shower to lessen the colour run. Our wool wash bar is great for soaking natural fabrics like wool and hemp with gentle care.
